A Potpourri Of Straightforward Major Motion Picture Summaries

The Little Vampire: A 9-year-old California schoolboy moves to Scotland and makes buddies with a 9-year-old vampire who sucks him into his planet and shows him the time of his life. Jury of One: Trudging melodrama in reference to a lady who goes to shocking extremes to guard her child, on trial for slay and rape. Gabin plays the magistrate. Cast includes Sophia Loren, Jean Gabin, Henri Garcin, Julien Bertheau, and Michel Albertini. (97 minutes, 1974)
Siesta: Sky diver Barkin ends up disheveled and semi-nude in Spain via Mortality Valley; her succeeding odyssey has something to do with kill which might truly be a fantasy and a taxi driver with rugged teeth who keeps trying to rape her. So-hailed experimental film is a throwback to some of the more unclear attempts of the 196O’s. Music score by Miles Davis. Barkin and Byrne later wedded in genuine life. Cast includes Ellen Barkin, Gabriel Byrne, Jodie Foster, Martin Sheen, Grace Jones, Julian Sands, and Isabella Rossellini. (97 minutes, 1987)
Colors: This movie deals with two L.A. cops one a veteran, and the other a gung ho rookie. They work the violent gang infested streets of East L.A. Can these two cops help reign in the terror that the gangs creating on the streets?
Bring It On: This is a battle of the cheerleaders. Last years championship team faces tough competition from a new hip-hop style team from the inner city. The high school drama plays out with the new head cheerleader having to deal with the ill will that has developed between the two teams.
The Lost World: Jurassic Park: John Hammond has learned to bring dinosaurs back to life from their DNA. After an attempt at marketing viewing these dinosaurs goes terribly wrong, all the animals are killed and the island closed. The problem is that something has survived.
The Shadow: This film is based on the 1930′s comics. The Shadow is called into action when his fiercest rival Shiwan Khan is attempting to take over the world. Khan’s plan is to hold a large city hostage with an atomic bomb, and through this take over the world.
Rockula: (1990) C-87 Adolescent vampire Cameron is powerless to lose his virginity due to an age-old hex. Cast includes Dean Cameron, Tawny Fere, Susan Tyrrell, Bo Diddley, Thomas Dolby, and Toni Basil. (87 minutes, 1990)
Beetlejuice: When Adam and Barbara meet their unlikely death in a car accident, they return home but are only ghosts in their house. When a new family is set to move in, they try to scare them off. Failing miserably they enlist the services of Beetlejuice, a people remover, to rid the home of these living people.
