The Abyss: A nuclear sub has gone down. The government seeks assistance, from nearby oil workers, in their investigation. When they go down to investigate, they make a shocking discovery. There are mysterious things in the depths of the oceans.

Hills Have Eyes Part 2: Lame continuation has a group of motocross fanatics stranded in the desert, preyed upon by a primitive family. This is loaded with flashback footage from the 1977 film, containing one ludicrously alleging to be a memory by a dog. Cast includes Michael Berryman, John Laughin, Tamara Stafford, Kevin Blair, and John Bloom. (88 minutes, 1985)

Ada: Dean Martin stars in this story of political corruption. With determination and commitment, a poor man finds his ways to riches in this politically based drama. Susan Hayward, Dean Martin, and Martin Balsam are the movies stars. (1961 drama Daniel Mann directs)

Trackdown: Montana rancher (Jim Mitchum) comes to L.A. looking for his sister, who has fallen into a seamy life in the streets. Not much depth however lots of action. Cast includes Jim Mitchum, Karen Larnm, Anne Archer, Erik Estrada, Cathy Lee Crosby, and Vince Cannon. (98 minutes, 1976)

Heartbreaker: Chicano Allende falls for WASP Dunlap among an ambiance of custom-fitted cars. Dull self sufficient production is displeasingly devoid of observations into the lifestyle it portrays. Look quick for Patty “Apollonia” Kotero. Cast includes Daybreak Dunlap, Peter Gonzales Falcon, Michael D. Roberts, Miguel Ferrer, Pepe Serna, and Rafael Campos. (90 minutes, 1983)

Ocean’s Twelve: Three years ago Danny Ocean and his team of eleven had pulled of one of the most daring heists in modern times. Terry Benedict, the casino owner they swindled out of $160 million wants his money back, and knows who robbed him. This leads to another and more diabolical plot to deal with this new mess.

Ali G. Indahouse: Before he carried Borat to the gigantic monitor, Tycoon Cohen’s other Television doppelganger made his characteristic debut in this raunchy sham in which the off-color British gangster rapper wannabe looks for riches. It is stupid and tasteless, however additionally sarcastic and relatively ludicrous. Cast includes Sacha Cohen, Michael Gambon, Charles Dance, Kellie Radiant, Martin Freeman, Rhona Mitra, Barbara Newt, and Emilio Rivera. R. (88 minutes, 2002)
