Earn Money Easily In An Affiliate Marketing Home Business In… 3 Hours a Week? Are You Joking?!
I came across an article recently which claimed that you could earn money easily working three hours a week in an affiliate marketing home business. I thought: “are you kidding me?!”
So I put my mind to it: Can anyone really earn any kind of money with such a small investment of time? My answer: Yes, but with reservations.
There are three things we have to think about:
1. Alright, let’s be optimistic and assume it’s possible.
If the business plan is really super-simple and doable, we might manage it to make SOME money.
But what we really need to ask is…
2. Can you and I make a real income in a few hours a week?
There’s where we get onto trouble. Three hours per week?
Well, whose three hours are we talking about?
Three hours, when used by an expert, is very different from three hours spent messing around when you are raw and new to a business.
And, sadly, this is where most affiliate marketing home business owners are in reality. These struggling novices most definitely are not earning money easily, if they are making any money at all!
Take playing the piano. Have you ever listened to a really terrific pianist? Anybody should be able to learn the piano, right?
Then again…
The question comes down to: Can YOU play well, and would we all pay to hear you?
Then, what really matters is…
3. It’s what you are able to put into those three hours that matters!
This is where we often fail. To recap: no great pianist starts out being great. In the beginning they are like you and me. But they BECOME great.
How? By committing himself or herself to becoming good.
(Put in that way, there seems almost no point in making the point!)
And what does a commitment to success demand?
We need… a mentor. An instructor. A guide who already has attained the heights to which the learner pianist wishes to climb, and who can lead him or her there.
So if we want to make it as affiliate marketers, and if we subscribe to the dream of investing minimum time, what must we do?
You must find two things. Those two things will be everything to you.
To earn money easily in an affiliate marketing home business, we must decide in favor of greatness, and then we must find someone else who is already great— a mentor. There is simply no other way to the goal. I wish there was. Or, if that is too much for you… try piano lessons!
