Critique of the Usana Product Line
Usana Products fall into 3 categories :
1. Nutritionals
The Usana nutritionals range has Essentials, Optimizers, and Digestion/Detox nutritional supplements. These supplements are engineered to assist with your overall health. The range has many anti oxidants, but they also have a good amount of supplements that are targeted at providing different minerals and vitamins to support wellness in various parts of the body.
2. Diet and Energy
The next range is primarily centered at weight loss. They’ve a spread of bars and shakes that are meant to help you replace meals and constrain your craving. These work very much in the same fashion as other products on the market, but allegedly do taste good and stop you from over doing it. They also have energy drinks and “surge” packs that make you to get a lift of energy when you need it, again so that you are not overdoing it on the meals and putting on fat! The energy packs are supposed to be an improved choice to usual energy drinks that cause people to crash and burn.
3. Personal Care
The last range is personal care. These are topical cream, washes, shampoo, and so on. The primary line in the personal care range is named Sense, and has been quite popular. The concept behind this range is they provide anti-oxidants for the skin, as well as much needed vitamins and nutrients. The thing that puts’s this range apart from rival beauty ranges is that it is particularly formulated with a preservation technology that does not use parabens (which may cause allergy reactions and have been lately associated to breast cancer).
So Usana products do have a wonderful rep for being top quality, but the controversy comes in when we look at the pricing. Their costs are a lot higher than some of their non-network marketing competitors. While Usana says this is due to the top quality of the products, some people have argued that it’s not justified.
But Usana does have lots of satisfied clients as well as representative, and with celebrity endorsements they have gone far to keep a great rep. If you are having a look at marketing Usana products yourself it’s critical to keep under consideration the obstacles you might face.
The genuine money in Usana comes not from concentrating on the products, but from referring other people to the business, and the old MLM models of getting others in thru personal recommendation simply do not work! To be successful selling Usana products and the business you’ll have to learn how to generate high quality leads on demand, and create multiple sources of income as you grow!
